The possession, exploitation and destruction of lives, lands, cultures, the natural environment – even of truth itself – has become so constant and uncontrolled that it often feels as though it has no depth and no end.

Surrounded by collapse, many of us exist in an economic and political framework that forces us to trade time and energy for money, giving us the illusion of security while eroding our ability to reflect on – and respond to – the world around us.

What is the end result of remaining on this path, and what needs to happen for us to reconnect with the things that actually sustain us?

An epic meditation on the human capacity for brutality, the degradation of nature and the insidious effects of technology, Illuminator is also a celebration of compassion, resistance and the ultimate resilience of the human spirit.
